Hiregiant has an exciting opportunity for a Service Parts Assistant to join a great team of friendly staff with opportunities to progress. You will be working for a global supplier based in Avonmouth; this will be an office‑based role working with a team of customer service and parts advisors.
Hours and Pay
£30,000 to £35,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
Working Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday. 40 hours per week, usually starting at 8am.
Responsibilities
* Processing calls and emails from customers, service managers and engineers
* Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers, while checking stock availability
* Using various helpdesk information platforms
* Producing quotations
* Using an ERP system to assign stock to orders
* Raising orders and dispatching goods from inventory or direct from manufacturers
* Managing returns
* Dealing with internal enquiries regarding pricing and availability
* Tracking orders and providing updatesEnsuring health and safety concerns are identified and escalated where necessary
Requirements
* A service and parts background
* General level of education: English, Maths, and IT
* A positive, can‑do attitude
* Good level of customer service
