It's your chance to help bring world-class vessels to life!12-month contracts with strong potential for extensionWork on real ships, not just parts on a benchWhat You'll Be DoingYou'll be at the heart of the action — fabricating, assembling, and installing key ship components to the highest standards.Your day-to-day could include:Marking off materialsBuilding ship structures (shells, decks, bulkheads & more)Fabricating items like ladders, panels & flooringInstalling hatches, watertight doors & onboard equipmentUsing machinery for rolling, cutting & forming materialsPreparing vessels for launch and sea trialsDocking work, plate prep, pressure testing & fittingWhat You'll NeedAbility to read fabrication & installation drawingsStrong hands-on fabrication and assembly skillsKnowledge of manufacturing processesSolid awareness of safety, health & environmental risksPay Rates (PAYE)Days:Locals: £20.80/hrNon-locals: £28.80/hrNights:Locals: £27.66/hrNon-locals: £35.66/hrUmbrella rates available (ask for full rate card)What's in It for You?Minimum 37 hours per weekOvertime available (not guaranteed)33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Important InfoTrade test & security clearance requiredApply with an up-to-date, task-specific CV and apprenticeship papers and i will call to discuss furtherDon't just build a career — build ships.
