The general salary range for the position is £46,900 - 56,500. Salary offers will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, training and education.

This position will work closely with internal stakeholders and partners to support the management of all compensation programs. Maintain compensation resources for both domestic and international employees. Act as SME for all compensation content, processes, and policies, and assist with day-to-day compensation needs across the organization, including but not limited to base pay administration, job offers, internal/external market competitiveness, and compliance. Support compensation activity globally for all counties in which the Humane Society does business. Assist with annual compensation merit process
This position will be responsible for:
* Assisting with annual organization-wide Total Rewards processes, including but not limited to, promotions and annual salary increases; make recommendations for change in an effort to streamline and continuously improve processes;
* Working closely with HR and hiring managers across the United States and our business operations globally, to assist in accurately grading jobs and providing job offers;
* Providing timely and accurate responses to compensation inquiries regarding processes, policies, and program/plan provisions;
* Partnering with managers and HR team members to ensure all company job descriptions accurately reflect position-level requirements and are consistent with organizational practices;
* Evaluating all job descriptions to determine FLSA classification, assign pay grade, and recommended compensation;
* Analyzing candidate information and internal equity during the recruiting process to develop equitable job offer amounts consistent with our pay practices for new hires and internal position changes. Presenting recommendations to hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team and address any concerns or issues;
* Participating in annual compensation surveys by gathering and organizing data for third party vendors. Ensuring purchased survey data is downloaded and saved to the appropriate database;
* Partnering with the Operations team to ensure the HR system is updated with the most current compensation and position related information;
* other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a relevant field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
* A minimum of four (4) years of international compensation experience required;
* Certification(s) in Human Resources and/or Compensation would be a plus;
* Extensive knowledge of compensation administration, compliance, and practices;
* Thorough understanding of international compensation including the ability to assess and grade jobs using market data in various currencies and different HRIS and Compensation Tools;
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and evaluate complex data and information to develop recommendations;
* Demonstrated proficiency with Excel;
* Attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to excellence and performance improvement and the drive to deliver quality and value-added results and outcomes;
* Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with an appropriate sense of urgency;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and demonstrated competency in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) usage. Ceridian Dayforce experience is a plus;
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively;
* Strong editing and grammar skills;
* Strong interpersonal skills for interacting in a courteous, timely, and diplomatic manner with all levels of staff as well as other parties/stakeholders involved with the organization;
* Ability to speak foreign languages is a plus;
* Strong communication skills with the ability to organize, articulate, and present ideas both verbally and in writing;
* Ability to work independently, as an effective team member, and with all levels of the organization;
* Ability to handle information of a confidential nature and ensure that such information is secured and maintained in an appropriate manner.
