Job Overview
As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the day-to-day operations. You will be the initial point of contact for carers accessing the service.
Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include triage-based conversations to identify needs, providing up-to-date information and advice to carers, and referring them to Carer Support Workers when appropriate. You will also support the planning and arrangement of peer group, carer activities and training sessions.
This role is primarily telephone-based, involving ongoing contact with carers, professionals and partner organisations throughout the day. This includes coordination and management of Emergency Support Plans.
Additionally, you will handle general office tasks such as answering phones, dealing with ad-hoc queries, and assisting with rota management. We value organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
We look for individuals with an eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and the calm professional handling of sensitive and urgent situations.
Previous administration experience, strong IT skills, knowledge of Office 365, and excellent telephone skills are essential.
