Job Description
This role sits within a single-family investment office managing a diversified, multi-asset portfolio across public markets, private capital, credit, real assets, and hedge funds. The Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making, investment reporting, and risk oversight, working closely with senior investment, risk, and operational stakeholders.
The position requires a highly experienced, hands-on professional capable of operating autonomously in a lean environment, while delivering complex analytical and change initiatives across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver data, analytics, and reporting initiatives aligned with the family fund’s investment and risk management objectives
* Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, and risk exposures across asset classes and investment strategies
* Support the development, review, and enhancement of data management and risk management policies and procedures
* Act as a key liaison between investment, risk, operations, and technology stakeholders, including senior investment professionals
* Contribute to the design and improvement of portfolio reporting, performance, and risk analysis frameworks
* Draft, review, and agree technical documentation, operational processes, and procedures to support change initiatives
* Ensure solutions are proportionate, robust, and appropriate for a private family office structure
Required Experience & Skills:
* 10+ years’ experience within asset management, investment management, or a family office environment
* Proven track record delivering projects and analytical solutions across the full project lifecycle
* Strong quantitative, data analysis, and modelling capabilities
* Deep understanding of common investment data sets across:
* Public equities and fixed income
* Hedge funds
* Private equity and private credit
* Experience with investment portfolio reporting, performance analysis, and risk management solutions
Salary Package:
* Day Rate: Up to £850
* IR35 Status: Outside
* Start Date: ASAP
