Overview
Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) based in the Automated Testing department at the Talbot Green base. The post offers the successful candidate an opportunity to work at the Welsh Blood Service.
Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of routine and specialist technical tasks including testing of blood components suitable for transfusion.
* Ensure all processes meet the requirements of the UK Guidelines for Blood Transfusion and the EU Directive as inspected by the MHRA.
Requirements
* Interest in laboratory-based employment.
* Welsh language ability is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome to apply.
