Are you a passionate and experienced architect seeking a dynamic role with a forward-thinking planning consultancy? Bloomfields is looking for a Senior Architect to join our vibrant and dedicated team.

THE ROLE
As a Senior Architect, you will:
* Grow: The architectural department in an established and ambitious planning firm.
* Lead Projects: Take ownership of a diverse portfolio, managing projects from concept to completion.
* Design Excellence: Develop creative and practical architectural solutions that align with planning policy, building regulations and client objectives.
* Collaboration: Work closely with clients, planners, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Mentorship: Guide and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
* Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications and building regulation approvals.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Experience: A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience with a proven track record in project management on site, including contract administration, design and acting as Principal Designer.
* Qualifications: Be registered with the Architects Registration Board and have a history in managing residential projects in the UK, across all RIBA stages.
* Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential and ideally a competence in Revit too. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and an in depth knowledge and experience of UK Building Regulations.
* Drive: A proactive, client-focused approach and a passion for creating high-quality, sustainable designs.

Salary: Dependent on experience.
Reporting directly to: Director.
Location of role: Paddock Wood, Kent; although candidates able to operate out of our Wadhurst, East Sussex or Hythe, East Kent may also be considered
