We are partnering with a well-established and reputable manufacturing business based in Wigan, currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, 3-month temporary basis, with the potential for extension.

Your new role
Due to increased workload, thepany is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on finance role and isfortable working in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing purchase and sales invoices
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Assisting with month-end duties
4. Managing supplier queries and statement reconciliations
5. Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
6. Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
What you'll need to succeed
7. Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
9. Able to work independently and manage own workload
10. Good Excel skills ( basic formulas, data handling)
11. Experience within manufacturing or a fast-paced environment is desirable
