Job Description
1. Oversee the annual Goods not for resale stock budget
2. Optimise stock requirements and work with the suppliers to deliver this
3. Negotiate the lowest prices without compromising on quality, delivery or payment days
4. Implement process improvements to reduce goods not for resale stockholding by 20%
5. Collaborate with production and transport teams to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment
6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement
Requirements
7. Minimum of 5 years of procurement management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment
8. Proven success in implementing Cost improvements and driving efficiency gains
9. Experience with budgeting stock levels and balancing stock positions
10. Strong understanding of inventory control processes
11. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
