SSQ are partnered with a global, leading insurance company to recruit a 5+ PQE Commercial Insurance lawyer to join their impressive and progressive function.
Commercial work will include a mixture of general commercial, technology, IP, TOBA's and NDA's as well as a mixture of insurance, privacy and ad-hoc employment work.
Suitable for someone with in-house experience in a varied commercial and insurance position and 5+ years of experience.
Role Description:
* Advising and working closely with the business to provide a pro-active service across a range of commercial law issues including, but not limited to, insurance agreements, general contracts, supply agreements, IP, Privacy, NDAs, TOBAs, and client service agreements
* Assisting on Delegated Underwriting Agreements, London Market Agreements
* General insurance commercial contracts, with drafting and negotiation, including NDAs; File Transfer Forms and Referral Agreements; Collaboration Agreements; TOBAs; Consulting Agreements; Fee Services Agreements; Non-Insurance Mediation Services Agreements; Service Level Agreements/ Mutually Referred Business Service Agreements; and Global Partnership Agreements.
* Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide variety of IT agreements, including SaaS Agreements
* Supporting the Privacy & Information Security teams with advising and drafting on Data Protection Clauses
Application requirements:
* 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience
* Wide general commercial contracts knowledge required.
* Insurance law knowledge required.
* Experience gained in private practice and/or in-house in a commercial legal team in the insurance sector, covering a wide range of general commercial and contract law matters
