Position Summary and Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, the appointee will play a key role in driving the College’s fundraising, donor engagement, and stakeholder outreach strategies. The role focuses on developing and managing donor relationships, leading major fundraising initiatives and events, and supporting the achievement of the College’s development goals.

Specifically, the appointee will (i) cultivate and manage relationships with major donors, corporates, foundations, and alumni to secure new and continued support; (ii) develop and execute fundraising strategies, campaigns, and flagship events to enhance engagement and giving; and (iii) oversee the management and optimization of the donation CRM system, ensuring high‑quality data, effective pipeline tracking, and data‑driven decision‑making.

The appointee will contribute to building a strong network of supporters and strengthening the College’s brand and community engagement.


Qualifications

Applicants should have a recognized bachelor’s degree with around 10–12 years of relevant experience in fundraising, institutional advancement, marketing, business development, or related fields. Proven experience in event planning and management is essential. Experience in donor cultivation and relationship management, as well as exposure to the higher education and/or NGO sector, is highly valued.

The ideal candidate should be people‑oriented, outgoing, and proactive, with strong communication and networking skills and the drive to see projects through to completion. Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is required.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Manager.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

Initial appointment will normally be made on a renewable 24+ months contract. Remuneration is competitive and will be based on qualifications and relevant experience. The College offers group medical insurance and dental, staff development support and leave provisions (annual leave, birthday leave, college leave, etc.) to eligible appointee. Appointee will undergo a Medical Examination and the Sexual Conviction Record Check.
