They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service to clients while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of our operations. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team.
Position Overview: As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for accurately recording and processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with various administrative tasks within the purchase ledger function.
Responsibilities:
1. Process purchase invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
2. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
3. Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other related matters.
4. Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
5. Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical records of invoices and supporting documentation.
6. Collaborate with colleagues in the finance department to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.
7. Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, data entry, and responding to internal and external inquiries.
