Our client is scaling fast - which means their finance team needs a leader who can keep the wheels turning smoothly and build the next version of how things should run. They’re looking for a Head of Transactional Finance who can take ownership of all things AP, AR, Treasury and Credit, and turn a good function into a high-performing, well-structured, efficient powerhouse.

What you’ll be responsible for
* Leading the full transactional finance function - AP, AR, Treasury, Credit Control and Cash Management.
* Developing and coaching multiple team leads and their teams to build capability, confidence and consistent performance.
* Driving process efficiencies, automation and standardisation across all transactional areas.
* Strengthening controls, improving accuracy and ensuring consistent delivery of SLAs and KPIs.
* Reworking workflows, upgrading systems and embedding best practice across the function.
* Partnering closely with Finance leadership to improve visibility, reporting and cashflow forecasting.
* Leading month-end deliverables for transactional areas and supporting the wider finance team during peak periods.
* Creating a high-performance culture based on accountability, service, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
* Strong experience leading transactional finance teams across AP, AR, Treasury and Credit.
* A track record of transforming processes - automation, standardisation, smarter workflows, cleaner controls.
* The ability to influence, collaborate and challenge constructively across all levels.
* A confident leadership style: calm, structured, people-focused, and clear on expectations.
* Strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness and comfort owning KPIs and performance metrics.
* Experience supporting or leading finance transformation initiatives is a big plus.
