Responsibilities
* As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting credit risk assessments on existing merchants. This includes:
* Gathering and analysing all relevant information needed to complete a credit review.
* Working closely with internal teams such as Underwriting, Transaction Monitoring and Relationship Managers to obtain further information for the review.
* Engaging directly with merchants for ongoing portfolio reviews.
* Evaluating financial statements and wider risk indicators to identify key credit risks and potential exposure to Worldpay.
* Making informed decisions within your Designated Authority (where applicable) and communicating those decisions clearly to relevant stakeholders.
What You\'ll Bring
* Experience in credit assessment or similar analytical practices
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Strong report writing skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely
* Experience interpreting large amounts of data
* Experience interpreting financial accounts
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence to manage challenging conversations professionally

About The Team
The Credit Risk team sits within our Risk function. Their primary responsibility is to minimise the risk of loss to the business. The team is responsible for live monitoring of merchant accounts that have been flagged by our Brighterion system, completing reviews and risk assessments to determine whether we can continue to engage with a customer. The team reviews financial and non-financial information to assess the overall risk profile of a business. The team also completes annual reviews for existing customers.
