Role Overview
* Maintain the highest clinical standards in patient management.
* Share responsibility with colleagues for day‑to‑day patient management.
* Promote new ways of working and coordinate community care, ensuring services are based on effective partnerships across the health community.
* Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
* Supervise, train, appraise and assess junior medical staff.
* Teach, conduct research and fulfil administrative duties.
* Proactively develop the anaesthesia service.
* Actively participate in departmental and Trust‑level clinical governance and audit matters.

This is a full‑time post for 12 months. Many of our previous post holders have proceeded to a substantive position within the Trust.
