The Role:
As the transport supervisor you'll report to the Transport Manager and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily operations of the transport department, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of goods and personnel.
* Manage and supervise a team of drivers, dispatchers, and other transport staff.
* Coordinate routes, schedules, and vehicle maintenance to optimize delivery performance.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
* Monitor fuel usage, vehicle condition, and repair needs to minimize downtime.
* Resolve any transport-related issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
* Prepare reports on transportation performance, including cost analysis and efficiency metrics.
* Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics and deliveries.
Key Requirements:
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
* In-depth knowledge of transport regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
* A valid driver's license (Class 2) and clean driving record
* Familiarity with transport management software and systems is a plus.
