About the role
The desired Design and Technology Teacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desired Design and Technology Teacher must have experience of working within an DT department and be comfortable teaching Design and Technology at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
1. Plan and deliver innovative and engaging Design and Technology lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
2. Utilize modern teaching methodologies and resources to inspire creativity and problem-solving skills among students.
3. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore and experiment with design concepts and techniques.
4. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Design and Technology curriculum and departmental initiatives.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Design and Technology Teacher you will:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Specialization or strong background in Design and Technology education.
8. Passion for fostering creativity, innovation, and practical skills in students.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
11. Previous experience teaching Design and Technology in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.

Salary
£30,000 to £46,525 per year
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
