Bank Receptionist
Location: Springfield Hospital, Chelmsford
Hours: Flexible, zero-hour contract
The role:
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our Administration team on a Bank contract. You will work with delivering exceptional standards of administration and customer service whilst being the front face of the hospital.
This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients, Consultants and all hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative, the ability to work within a team and adaptable. You must be computer literate – experience with Word and Outlook being essential.
What you will bring:
1. Experience in a front facing or customer service role
2. Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent
3. Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.
4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including databases
5. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and consultants on a day-to-day basis applying appropriate methods and interpersonal skills
6. Positive, willing attitude
7. Self-motivated and possess strong organisational, interpersonal and above all customer service skills.
8. Flexibility for evenings and weekend shifts is essential for this role

Our hospital is conveniently located on the outskirts of Chelmsford with plenty of free parking onsite. We also offer outreach clinics in Southend and Brentwood enabling you access to our expert consultants and diagnostics close to are proud to work with over 200 of the most experienced and qualified consultants locally, most of whom also have substantive posts within the NHS. Our consultants are supported by a team of highly skilled and friendly nursing staff who have your care and comfort as their highest priority and our Resident Medical Officer who is on site 24 hours a day.
