Finance Assistant | Chelmsford | Full or part time.
We’re working with a well-established international business based in Chelmsford who are looking to bring an experienced Finance Assistant into their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied finance role, with a strong focus on credit control but also the chance to get involved across the wider finance function.
The role:
You’ll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance team, with responsibilities including:
* Managing the credit control process, chasing outstanding payments and maintaining strong client relationships
* Working with SAP to process and maintain accurate financial records
* Supporting with expenses and payroll administration
* Assisting across purchase and sales ledger as required
* General finance support to ensure smooth running of the department
What they’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a Finance Assistant role
* Strong credit control experience (this is key)
* Experience using SAP or similar finance systems but not a necessity
* Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
* Someone reliable, organised, and happy to get stuck in where needed
