Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit a CNC Programmer who can program, set and operate Horizontal Machining centres, ideally you will have experience using Fanuc controls.
The Job youll do
* Due to our clients continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled machinist to program and operate a Horizontal Machining Centre.
* Able to work unsupervised and interpret engineering drawings to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard.
* Program set and operate Fanuc controlled horizontal machining centres.
* Inspecting work using standard measuring equipment, to offer assistance to colleagues as a Lead Hand working with the Production Supervisors to report any general employee issues, planning jobs, tooling etc.
* Be on hand to help with any problems that may arise on the shift.
* Work with supervisors and colleagues to increase production, efficiency and safety.
About You
1. Must be qualified to a minimum BTEC & NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent time served Mechanical Engineer.
2. Must have the ability and experience to program set & operate machines to drawings and instructions.
3. Experience operating Fanuc controls will be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
