Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting General Assistants for one of the largest Airline catering company based in Gatwick.
The Candidate:
To be considered for the general assistant position role in Gatwick you'll need to be able to demonstrate good attention to detail skills.
The ideal person for this position would need the following:
Be able to provide your last 5 years history
Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check
Hard working
Keen and have a "can do attitude
Reliable
UK right to work
Proof of National Insurance
Flexibility is essential, need to be prepared to work shift patterns
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately picking and packing orders
Making sure you keep to the fast-paced environment ensuring smooth operations
Performing quality checks on items.
Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets.
Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
Following all health and safety procedures and using appropriate PPE.
Requirements:
Our warehouse operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will also need to be prepared to work shift patterns.
Experience in a similar role or cold environment.
Must be physically fit and able to work in cold conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills.
