HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver – Middlesbrough
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday • Start times between 04:00 and 07:00
Rates of Pay
• £19.00 per hour (basic) • Night out bonuses paid (equivalent to £26.20 per hour)

Day-to-Day Duties
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly • Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management • Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required
Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category CE driving licence • Valid ADR licence • Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Class 1 (CE) vehicles • Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes) • Good spoken and written English • Punctual with excellent time-keeping • Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations • Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience • Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training Provided
• Driver assessment to be completed before starting • One-day paid induction following successful assessment
