Specialist Podiatrist - £35 p/h - Wales - Band 6
1. Job Title: Specialist Podiatrist
2. Caseload: Generals
3. WFH: No capability to work from home
4. Location: Cardiff
5. Duration: 3 months - Ongoing
6. Schedule: Monday to Friday (anything between 2 and 5 days per week)
7. Start Date: June/July 2024
8. Rate of pay: £35 p/h
Responsibilities
9. Conducting thorough autonomous assessments of patients' health conditions.
10. Formulating and implementing care plans.
11. Providing treatment as necessary.
12. Using evidence-base practice and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
13. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
14. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date podiatry records in line with professional standards.
15. Staying current with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
16. Current and valid registration in the UK with the HCPC as a Podiatrist
17. Previous experience as a podiatrist either in the UK or overseas
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
20. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, but hours can be flexible.
