In today's highly competitive climate, we seek an Admissions Officer who will play a pivotal role in promoting the school and driving student enrolments.

Purpose of the Role

The Admissions Officer is responsible for the effective recruitment of new students into the school. This is a sales and relationship-driven role
,
requiring a proactive, results-oriented professional who can attract, nurture, and convert enquiries into enrolments, ensuring that Adcote School reaches its admissions targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Student Recruitment & Sales
* Actively generate leads and follow up with prospective families.
* Deliver an exceptional customer journey from enquiry to enrolment.
* Achieve or exceed student recruitment targets in line with school growth objectives.
* Develop proactive strategies to increase admissions in domestic markets.

* Relationship Management

* Build strong relationships with prospective families, and feeder schools.
* Provide tailored advice and guidance to parents, showcasing the value of an Adcote education.
* Host tours, open days, and events that convert interest into firm applications.

* Marketing & Promotion

* Collaborate with the Marketing Team to design and deliver targeted campaigns.
* Represent Adcote School at recruitment fairs, exhibitions, and school visits.
* Contribute creative ideas to strengthen the school's visibility in the market.

* Admissions Process & Administration

* Manage the full admissions pipeline efficiently – from initial enquiry to confirmed enrolment.
* Maintain accurate admissions records, CRM systems, and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding, and regulatory standards.

Person Specification

* Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in sales, business development, or student recruitment
(ideally within education).
* Highly proactive, target-driven, and able to work under pressure to achieve results.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
* IT literate, with experience of using CRM systems or databases.

* Desirable

* Experience in independent schools or international student recruitment.
* Knowledge of the UK independent school sector.
