Role
Production Planner Neath | Permanent £32,000 per annum Bridgestone Group are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer based in Neath, who are looking for a Production Planner to join them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Define and approve the production plan, ensuring the availability of merchandise to meet client demand, while optimising efficiency and adhering to company guidelines and procedures.
* Develop and maintain the production plan based on sales forecasts, client requirements, and stock levels.
* Ensure targets are met regarding service levels, warehouse balance, and productive efficiency.
* Coordinate with procurement to confirm raw material availability.
* Liaise with transport/logistics to schedule deliveries.
* Discuss and review production plans with the production management team to assess feasibility and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Approve final production plans and coordinate with planning officers during daily operations.
* Manage critical events and resolve production-related issues.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to maximise service to clients.
* Ensure adherence to company processes, policies, and procedures.
* Promote a culture of safety and corporate values.
* Shift Pattern Monday to Friday: 8.30 to 4.30pm.
Qualifications
* A degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, problem-solve, and work effectively under pressure.
