**About the role**
Do you have a passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated Youth Mentor to join our vibrant team at a special school in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, supporting students with a range of additional needs.
As a Youth Mentor, you’ll play a key role in helping our young people develop their confidence, social skills, and emotional wellbeing. You’ll provide one-to-one and small group mentoring, help manage behaviour positively, and work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.

**Role Requirements**
8. Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is required.
9. Previous experience working in Educational is desirable.
10. A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
11. An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
12. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
