Overview

Interim Analyst, RTR Banking (18mths FTC) role at Hilton. The Interim Analyst for US / UK Banking will deliver day-to-day Treasury Accounting processes within Hilton’s UK Centre of Excellence, supporting accurate and timely reporting for approximately 250 hotels. Guided by the Manager, Banking, the role focuses on delivering Treasury Accounting processes to agreed timetables and SLAs while enhancing service quality and efficiency.


Responsibilities

* Organising Activities: Follow direction from management to carry out and coordinate all required Banking tasks, ensuring timely and efficient completion toward goals and KPIs.
* Identify and implement process improvements in consultation with management to enhance end-to-end Banking processes for US / UK responsibilities.
* Demonstrate understanding of end-to-end Banking processes to confidently deliver solutions and respond to questions and queries.
* Controlling & Co-ordinating Activities: Coordinate day-to-day activities to ensure timely delivery of Hotel Accounting tasks; contribute to relevant metrics and management information.
* Provide guidance on operating best practice and evaluate current processes, implementing actions to streamline and maximise efficiency.
* Ensure monthly closing and reporting activities meet guidelines and deadlines; execute balance sheet reconciliation processes and explain ageing or unreconciled items.
* Administrative Activities: Perform US / UK Banking processes with controls, reconcile bank accounts daily, investigate reconciling items, adjust auto-match rules as needed, and maintain internal controls including SOX compliance.
* Support audits (internal and external) by coordinating documentation and responding to auditor requests; complete hotel transitions checklist and report findings clearly.
* Adhere to Treasury Accounting policy and procedures; participate in peer reviews and communicate potential issues with recommendations for control improvements.


Required Qualifications

* Relevant experience in an accounting banking / Treasury accounting role
* Education to High School / GED level
