About the Role:
Cover People are working in partnership with supportive and welcoming secondary schools across North Manchester to provide qualified Maths Teachers for day-to-day and short-term cover roles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Ensure strong classroom behaviour management in line with school policies
• Follow provided lesson plans and schemes of work
• Support pupils’ learning and progress in Mathematics
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Adapt to different school environments and staff teams

Person Specification:
Essential:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject (or equivalent experience)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Cover People UK)
Desirable:
• Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
• Flexible and confident working across a variety of school settings
