Position: Machine Operator
Pay: $22+/hour
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team as Machine Operators for the afternoon shift, from 2:48 PM to 11:00 PM. In this role, you will be an essential part of our molding and mixing departments, where you will receive comprehensive training tailored to our operational needs.
Your Responsibilities
* Operate presses in the molding department with precision.
* Lift and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
* Conduct visual inspections to ensure top-notch quality.
* Load and unload rubber into machines efficiently.
* Perform repetitive tasks while standing at one machine for most of your shift.
* Reach into machines to load and unload products, navigating awkward positions.
* Utilize your hands extensively for loading, lifting, and packaging products.
* Transport materials to the next station in the manufacturing process.
* Complete production tickets, press production sheets, and downtime sheets.
* Maintain a clean work environment by sweeping and picking up scrap materials.
* Set up and operate mixing equipment with care.
* Prepare raw materials based on batch tickets.
* Utilize computers to check scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoists.
* Inspect materials for defects and inconsistencies.
* Drive tow motor safely.

Work Environment
Our facility operates on a European shift system, with the afternoon shift being the third shift. Please note:
* This role is in a non-temperature-controlled environment, with presses operating at 300 degrees.
* The work can be physically demanding, requiring you to stand at one press for an entire shift.
* We are expanding our workforce from 104 to 160 employees on the plant floor.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Middlefield, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45,000.00 - $50,000.00/year.
