About You
* You will be a time‑served multiskilled engineer with an electrical bias
* Experience working with PLCs, motor controls, wiring, pneumatics, and gearboxes
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* Experience in manufacturing or production environments
* Engineering qualifications (e.g. 17th/18th Edition, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND)
* Ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively
* A proactive mindset — spotting issues before they escape
* Happy working a permanent nightshift Monday to Friday
About The Job
* Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective breakdown repairs
* Working with PLCs, electrical systems, and mechanical components
* Supporting and contributing to engineering and improvement projects
* Writing, reviewing, and training on maintenance procedures (including LOTO)
* Raising and reviewing risk assessments
* Coordinating and managing external contractors
* Sourcing and managing spare parts (critical and non‑critical)
* Collaborating with day shift production teams to maintain safety and performance standards
