Maths Academic Mentor What the Role Involves

• Delivering targeted Maths interventions across Key Stages 3-5
• Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1-1 basis to boost attainment

• Tracking pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff
• Acting as a positive role model for pupils preparing for GCSEs and A-Levels

Maths Academic Mentor What the School is Looking For The ideal Maths Academic Mentor will hold a 2-1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university, ideally in Maths or a related subject. Previous child-centred experience is highly desirable. The school is seeking a proactive, compassionate and committed Maths Academic Mentor with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to support young people academically and personally. • £450£530 per week, pro rata to term time only
• Full-time, long-term role from January to July
• Term-time only
• Potential for future teacher training or an extended contract following a successful placement
