Job Description
The Role
We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeller to support a busy programme of work converting scan data and legacy drawings into accurate BIM models. This role is well-suited to someone with strong Scan-to-BIM experience who is comfortable working from LiDAR point clouds and 2D information.
Key Responsibilities
* Convert LiDAR scan data and existing 2D drawings into coordinated BIM models
* Develop, update and maintain accurate BIM models in line with project requirements
* Produce high-quality 3D models suitable for design, coordination and downstream use
* Support wider modelling activities across multiple projects
* Ensure models comply with agreed BIM standards, workflows and naming conventions
* Collaborate with project and design teams to resolve modelling queries
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a BIM Modeller or Scan-to-BIM role
* Strong experience working with LiDAR / point cloud data
* Proficient in Revit (essential)
* Experience converting 2D drawings into 3D BIM models
* Good understanding of BIM standards (e.g. PAS 1192 / ISO 19650 preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
Desirable
* Experience on existing buildings or refurbishment projects
* Knowledge of additional tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, Recap, or similar
* Previous experience working on UK-based projects
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role. Based in Chester.
The salary would be £50-55k depending on experience.
