The Role
We are looking to recruit a skilled Welder to join our team of day welders at our Ripon Head Office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of components, primarily in mild steel, using MIG welding equipment. These components range from small piece parts to large hoppers and tipper bodies for our commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
* MIG welding a variety of mild steel components.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Plating components before final welding.
* Ensuring all work meets the required quality standards.
* Working efficiently to meet production targets.
Requirements
* Proven experience in welding.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience working with mild steel.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
