An SEND Teacher would support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities by implementing the school's SEND policy, co-ordinating their learning provision, assessing their progress, and working in partnership with parents and external agencies. This role involves teaching, often in small groups or individually, creating a safe and inclusive environment, developing students' confidence, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure the best possible support for each child.
