The B2B Field Marketing Manager role within the B2B Marketing team will focus on developing and executing winning growth marketing strategies for B2B customers globally. As a creative, customer-focused, and data-driven marketer, you will highlight the value of our advertising, events and education, and communication solutions to marketing professionals across science and industry. This role reports to the Director of B2B Field Marketing, Audience Solutions. This role will be a catalyst for growth, you will be accountable for creating and influencing sales opportunities through demand gen and campaigns for targeted accounts to drive new business, cross-sell, and up-sell to existing strategic accounts.
How you will make an impact:
1. Interface and work closely with marketing and sales leaders to drive an aligned strategy and plan including identifying focus accounts, aligned campaigns and intelligence sharing.
2. Work with product marketing to review market intelligence, market research, and competitor behavior to understand what customers need and want.
3. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points to develop and adapt marketing strategies for our products.
4. Analyze and provide on-demand campaign analysis to support the Sales and Marketing organization.
5. Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate marketing campaigns against key metrics.
6. Leverage research and market data to determine ABM (Account Based Marketing) focuses and fit within global strategy.
7. Apply knowledge for effective product targeting and market segmentation.
8. Act on insight to ensure continued evolution and focus on driving pipeline results.
9. Reach Field Marketing targets tied to business goals and track performance/metrics.
What we look for:
10. Proven track record working in B2B marketing roles, preferably in ABM, Demand Gen, Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, or similar role.
11. Understand the macro market environment and competitive environment.
12. Recognize buyer and user behaviors and the needs of the key target audience.
13. Can design and guide development of customer-centric integrated marketing campaigns with knowledge of how to optimize marketing tactics.
14. Are creative and can look beyond the status quo to ideate impactful marketing content.
15. Can collaborate, build relationships, and drive results across teams.
16. Data-driven with strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and interpret metrics around marketing performance and sales pipeline funnel.
17. Are highly organized with strong project management skills including the ability to accurately specify project milestones, dependencies, and risk factors.
18. Are capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities while giving excellent attention to detail.
19. Can work and deliver to a deadline with high quality work.
20. Are an experienced user of Salesforce.
21. Have a bachelor's degree in marketing, digital technologies, or relevant field.
22. International travel will be required up to 15%.
23. Experience in publishing, technology, or applied sciences sector a plus.
