We are working with a specialist biotechnology organisation developing complex biological products within a regulated R&D environment. This is a hands‑on development role with a strong focus on analytical and biochemical method development, validation and product characterisation.
What You Will Be Doing
* Developing, optimising and validating analytical methods to support biological product development
* Designing and running ELISA based assays for characterisation, release and stability testing
* Performing HPLC and related chromatographic techniques for purity, identity and consistency assessment
* Applying wet chemistry and protein chemistry techniques across development studies
* Troubleshooting methods and improving robustness, reproducibility and performance
* Analysing data, interpreting results and feeding conclusions into development decisions
* Writing and reviewing protocols, validation reports and technical documentation in line with quality requirements
* Supporting technology transfer, method handover and cross functional development activities
What We Are Looking For
* Degree or higher qualification in chemistry, biochemistry or a related life science discipline
* Industry experience in analytical or development focused laboratory roles
* Strong hands on experience with ELISA development and validation
* Practical working knowledge of HPLC and associated analytical techniques
* Confidence working with protein chemistry and wet lab methods
* Experience operating within regulated or quality driven environments
* Detail oriented, methodical approach with a problem solving mindset
