About The Role As a Teacher of Biology, you will inspire and engage students through high-quality lesson planning and delivery. Your role will encompass teaching students up to Key Stage 5, fostering a supportive and challenging learning environment that nurtures student self-esteem. You will prepare lessons, assess student work, and maintain accurate records of progress and behaviour in line with school policies. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with colleagues across departments and actively contribute to the development of initiatives and resources that enhance educational outcomes. Additionally, you will play a vital role in safeguarding students, ensuring their wellbeing, and promoting a positive school environment. Who we are looking for: You are an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a strong commitment to student success. You possess an energetic and flexible approach to teaching, believing in the potential of every child. With excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate, you are committed to continuous professional development. A degree in Biology or a relevant field, alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), is essential. Experience in teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, as well as a desire to work collaboratively with parents and colleagues, further defines your profile as the ideal candidate for this role.
