About the Company
My Client is a fast-growing, automation-led provider of back-office solutions, specialising in supporting staffing firms trading in the USA. With an ambitious growth trajectory and a strong footprint across the UK and North America, they are now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to play a key role in driving client acquisition and revenue growth.
The Role
The Business Developer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and positioning My Client as a trusted partner to staffing firms.
Responsibilities include:
* Identifying and engaging qualified accounts through networking, referrals, research, and proactive outreach (LinkedIn, phone, email).
* Leading discovery calls and business development meetings - initially alongside the Founder for training, before progressing to running meetings independently.
* Representing the business at industry events across London, hosting and attending to increase brand awareness and generate new leads.
* Building the online presence of the business by sharing relevant content and participating in industry discussions to create further opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious professional with the following attributes:
* A proven track record in B2B business development (3–7 years’ experience).
* Strong experience in generating new business, not just account management.
* Tenacity, resilience, and long-term relationship-building skills.
* Confident and personable, with the ability to influence and persuade effectively.
* Comfortable working remotely and managing your own pipeline.
* Experience selling funding or technology solutions into the staffing industry would be advantageous.
Compensation
My Client has a market-leading compensation philosophy, rewarding top performers exceptionally well:
* Junior/Mid-Level (3–5 years’ experience): £40K–£55K basic, with OTE of £80K–£100K.
* Senior/Experienced (5–8 years’ experience): £60K–£85K basic, with OTE of £100K+.
