We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Commercial Accountant to join our Finance team in Westerham. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our business through accurate management accounting, financial analysis, and process improvement. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive productivity, efficiency, and informed decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide accurate and timely management information to support business decisions.
* Prepare and reconcile rebate accounting for EMEAA, and act as accountant for Marketing and Product Management functions.
* Meet reporting deadlines and deliver quality supporting information for management review.
* Ensure financial processes are automated, systematic, and provide a clear audit trail.
* Produce budgets and forecasts for Marketing, Promotions, Projects, and Rebates.
* Assist product management with business cases, ensuring financial data is accurate and consistent.
* Maintain approval processes and digital storage of business cases for easy access.
* Review trading agreements and ensure internal templates, processes, and controls are followed.
* Authorise rebate and agent commission credit note payments.
* Maintain and manage the financial management system (e.g., Anaplan).
* Support confidential corporate projects as required by the Financial Controller or Finance Director.
* Identify problems and implement solutions to improve financial processes.
* Carry out any reasonable duties as requested by the Finance leadership team.
What You’ll Already Have
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualification (or working towards).
* Proven analytical skills and a track record of problem-solving.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
* Self-motivated and target-driven, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to see the big picture while managing detailed projects.
* Desire to continuously improve and challenge the status quo.
