An international SAAS business is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of FP&A to lead its commercial function and drive EBITDA growth. There is a realistic opportunity to progress to Finance Director (#1) within 2-3 years of being in the business.
This is a key leadership role within the commercial finance team, responsible for delivering strategic insight, driving business performance, and supporting senior stakeholders with high-quality analysis and decision-making support.
The successful individual will have proven leadership capabilities, a background of working closely with sales teams to substantially increase revenues and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Head of FP&A will lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities across the business. You will play a critical role in shaping financial performance, improving reporting capabilities, and partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with key stakeholders across c-suite, sales and operations
Support strategic projects, investment appraisals, and commercial decision making
Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
Deliver meaningful financial analysis and performance reporting to senior leadership
Develop and enhance KPI reporting and management information
Provide analysis on revenue performance, margins, customer profitability, and investment opportunities
Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems, and reporting automation
Lead and develop the FP&A team, fostering a high-performance culture
About You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Significant experience within FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic finance roles within international businesses
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
Experience working within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to influence and challenge senior decision makers
Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge; Power BI experience advantageous
Experience within technology / SAAS or data-led businesses would be beneficial
