Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with participation in on‑call rota)

We are looking for someone to join our dedicated team at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, where you will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and inspecting mechanical building services. Responsibilities
 * Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical and building services to ensure systems run smoothly.
 * Repair and fault finding: Respond quickly to breakdowns, conduct thorough fault finding to identify and resolve issues safely and efficiently.
 * Installation and upgrades: Assist in minor upgrades and adaptations to existing systems.
 * Health and safety compliance: Ensure all work follows statutory and company health and safety guidelines, using the correct PPE.
 * Collaboration and customer focus: Work closely with colleagues and departments to minimise disruption while delivering high standards of service.
 * Flexibility and initiative: Participate in the Engineer on‑call rota and respond effectively to out‑of‑hours needs.
What We Are Looking For
 * Experience: Background in maintenance, ideally within a healthcare environment.
 * Technical skills: NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Services (or equivalent) with hands‑on experience in mechanical systems (DHW, LPHW, CHW, ventilation). Pipefitting and steam system experience is a plus.
 * Collaboration: Team player who builds relationships with customers and colleagues.
 * Problem solving: Ability to think critically and propose solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
 * Commitment to excellence: Passion for exceptional customer service and high standards, even when working independently.
