Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
1. Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers as part of the Li Ion Battery Assembly area providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
2. Lean process planning and improvements, cost reduction & elimination of waste (NVAs) to improve competitiveness
3. VSM analysis to assess the efficiency & effectiveness of current operations & ideate new future state
4. Study the ergonomics & eliminate the professional hazard for workmen & improve the productivity
5. Process improvement, Poka yoke, cycle time & rework reduction
6. Identify opportunities in Labor Productivity, automation, standardization & lead time reduction
7. Time study using observations, PMTS tools & multimodel line balancing to determine manpower requirements
8. Interact within team for integrated solutions to meet guidelines, customer quality and timeline expectations.
