As an Associate Director, you’ll play a senior role in our UK tax practice, managing client engagements, driving compliance and advisory services, and mentoring talented professionals. This is a delivery-focused leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves balancing technical expertise with team development.
People
* Manage and support a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality work and professional growth.
* Provide coaching and feedback to foster a positive, inclusive culture.
* Assist the Director with onboarding, training, and performance initiatives.
Client
* Lead UK corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of clients.
* Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
* Escalate complex technical issues to senior leadership when needed.
Value
* Ensure timely, accurate delivery of engagements aligned with regulatory standards.
* Contribute to revenue growth through efficient project management and client retention.
* Champion process improvements and leverage tax technology tools.
* Stay current with UK tax legislation and share knowledge internally.
Education And Experience
* Qualifications: ACA, CTA, or equivalent professional certification.
* Experience: Strong UK corporate tax background, ideally from a mid-tier or Big Four firm.
* Skills:
o Deep technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
o Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Bonus Points: Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, or tax automation tools.
