We are recruiting for an experienced groundworks gang to join a large residential housing development in Barnet, North London. The work is heavily front end focused — strip, reduce, drainage, foundations and services — with a long-term programme ahead for the right team.
We are ideally looking for a ready-made gang who can mobilise quickly and work together as a unit from day one. Individual applications from experienced 360 operators and groundworkers are also welcome and will be considered.
Preferred: Complete gang of 3 — one 360 operator and two groundworkers — ready to start together. Please state in your application if you are applying as a gang.
What we need
360 operator (1 required)
* Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 excavator ticket — essential
* Experienced on front end housing — strip, dig, trench foundations
* Comfortable working to tight tolerances and drawings
Groundworkers (2 required)
* Valid CPCS or NPORS dumper ticket — essential for both
* Solid front end groundworks background on housing sites
* Drainage (foul and storm), strip footings, kerbing, haunching
* Services ducting, setting out, sub-base and road formation
* Concrete works — blinding, floor slabs, oversite
