Our client is a leading commercial firm who is looking for an Employment Paralegal to join their well-regarded team in Newcastle. In this role you will be supporting the busy employment team, whilst developing your skillset further. The Role You will be providing daily legal and administrative support to fee earners in the employment department focusing on Special Educational Needs (SEND), and Tribunal Claims. Key Responsibilities Assisting solicitors with SEND claims Preparing and filing formal responses to SEND claims Liaising with the team's client base (schools, local authorities, and parents) Preparing hearing bundle documents for tribunals Conducting research Opening and closing files Any other admin tasks that the fee earners require support with About You Law degree Previous employment law paralegal or legal assistant experience Strong understanding of employment/education law process A passion to work within employment law Excellent communication skills Empathetic approach when speaking with clients What's in it for you?
