About The Role
We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Andover within our Highways Division. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and safe operations of our field-based HGV Engineers and Operatives who carry out cleaning, surveys and some repairs work.

50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.
Salary
£38,000-£44,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with planning and coordinating the activities of the engineering team to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
* Act as the first point of contact for the operatives and support them with problem solving for any drainage related issues.
* Customer/Client interaction – provide timescales and be a contact to answer any questions or queries they may have.
* Perform Health & Safety audits on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
* Ensure the team has the necessary equipment, information, and resources to complete work efficiently and safely.
* Assist in managing the company’s vehicles and plant within the depot, ensuring they are properly calibrated, serviced, and maintained.
* Maintain the fleet and equipment in a condition that reflects the company’s professional image and commitment to Health & Safety.
* Oversee the efficient scheduling of work to maximise productivity and asset usage.
About You
* Previous experience in drainage or utilities is preferred, but not essential.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of field-based engineers.
* A full UK driving licence is required.
* Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks effectively to optimise workflow and asset usage.
