The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our busy office team. You'll be the first point of contact for customers making enquiries and bookings, ensuring a smooth process from initial request through to confirmed reservation. It's also important that you have a proactive attitude and are prepared to generate potential business too. This is a key role in delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle inbound calls, emails, and online booking enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
* Provide accurate quotes, availability, and travel information to customers
* Manage reservations using our booking system, ensuring all details are recorded correctly
* Make outbound proactive calls to existing customers and new prospects
* Liaise with the operations team to coordinate vehicle and driver schedules
* Follow up on enquiries to convert quotes into confirmed bookings
* Support customers with amendments, special requests, or last-minute changes
* Maintain knowledge of company services, fleet, and policies to provide clear advice
* Deliver outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
About You:
* Previous experience in reservations, customer service, or a call centre environment (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced office
* Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and booking systems
* Experience using Coach Manager booking software would be a bonus
* Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
What We Offer:
* 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday
* Salary £13.59 per hour
