Project Analyst
Contract: 12 months (initial)
Location: 100 Liverpool Street
Rate: £250 PAYE
This role sits within the TCMJ group, operating alongside the Financial Crime Compliance portfolio, supporting delivery across sanctions, transaction monitoring, and financial crime analytics initiatives.
Purpose of the Role
This is a hands‑on mid‑senior Project Analyst / PMO role, focused on coordinating delivery, supporting governance, and providing clear reporting to senior management. The role supports a compliance‑led project pillar but is not a technical compliance specialist position.
Key Responsibilities
Programme & PMO Support
Maintain consolidated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
Coordinate activity across multiple projects and PMs
Ensure delivery remains structured and sustainable
RAID & Delivery Oversight
Track risks, issues, actions, and decisions
Identify emerging risks early and flag to the reporting manager
Support proactive management of delivery challenges
Senior Management Reporting
Produce high‑quality packs, papers, and decks for senior forums
Support development committee and governance submissions
Manage communications upward with clarity and consistency
Portfolio Planning
Support development of an overarching programme plan
Contribute to a holistic 3-5 year portfolio view
Help mature the programme post‑engagement
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
Has a strong PMO or Senior PMO background
Is comfortable being hands‑on and delivery‑focused
Is not overly specialised in technical compliance frameworks
Can confidently manage reporting, coordination, and governance work
Has financial services experience (strongly preferred)
A legal background is a bonus if FS experience is lighter
Key Skills & Requirements
Essential
Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel)
Excellent presentation and report‑writing ability
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Desirable
Experience using project planning or PMS tools
Minimum
Clear communicator
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
