About The Role
Are you passionate about partnering with senior leaders to deliver strategic people objectives?
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Regional Scotland team. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our People Plan, supporting business transformation, and driving talent and engagement initiatives across a diverse and dynamic region.
Location: North of Scotland (Aberdeen, Peterhead, Inverness) with regular travel to Motherwell and flexibility for smart working
What you\'ll be doing
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and direct the delivery of the People Plan within your business area, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
* Provide one-to-one coaching and advice to senior leaders on organisational effectiveness, performance, and talent development.
* Drive the full scope of the talent agenda, including succession planning and development actions.
* Project manage complex change and transformation initiatives, coordinating with other HR functions.
* Oversee complex Employee Relations cases, working closely with ER Advisors and Business Partners.
* Champion employee engagement and ensure business input into HR plans.
* Review and analyse HR project outputs, coaching managers to embed change.
* Ensure organisational structures are fit for purpose and manage structural change effectively.
* Identify strategic resourcing needs and work with managers and the Resourcing team to deliver plans.
* Build strong relationships across HR teams to ensure alignment and process effectiveness.
* Maintain a relentless focus on Zero Harm and promote a positive workplace culture.
Who we\'re looking for
* Proven track record in building effective relationships with senior leadership teams and managing organisational change.
* Experience working in complex, matrix organisations with a varied workforce.
* Significant experience across the full range of HR disciplines.
* Recognised as an emotionally intelligent and trusted business advisor, with strong commercial acumen.
* Experience in a unionised environment (if applicable).
* Willingness and ability to travel across sites and work independently.
