Required Experience:
* 2 - 4 years' experience within a similar role in accounts.
* At least Level 4 AAT qualified.
* Experience in a Management/Supervisory Capacity.
Desired Experience:
* BSC Degree or Equivalent.
* Knowledge of couriers including UPS, DHL, TNT and FedEx and use of air and road freight would be an advantage.
Responsibilities Include:
* Reporting to the Financial Controller and managing a small team in Accounts Payable and Billing and an outsourcing team, providing support and cover when needed.
* Responsible for the purchase ledger, including managing purchase ledger staff, invoice approvals and preparing payment runs.
* Managing weekly billing ensuring all carrier invoices have been billed out and preparing weekly analysis for the Financial Controller.
* Managing customer credits process and approvals.
* Good computer skills are essential as the role involves using World Options bespoke software programs.
* Good experience with all Microsoft packages particularly Excel.
* Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
* Good ability to work under pressure.
